This article was very helpful to me on the subject of the ears but I have a question on dog color. My dog is white naturally but it is getting like a biege color little by little. What are some possibilities on losing his white? He is only 9 weeks. We have a white dog as well and the vet told us that the iron in a dogs saliva will cause the white to turn orangey/tan. It is also just like a blond person that may become darker with age - pigmintation in the hair follicle.
I know it's recomended to use only dog shampoo, but at the moment, my dog needs a serious bath. Would there be much harm in using baby shampoo for right now?baby shampoo is good for the dogs head and face as it doesn't sting their eyes
It was awful
my dog is slightly smelly v. helpful :D
Thank you for some valuable information that will benefit my dog, Yogi & me! I was just looking at dog baths & your article really supported the reasons to invest in one.

I've been using human shampoo on my dog forever! Do you think that I've hurt him?!?Coal tar soap has been recommended to me to help soothe my dogs dry skin, (and it seems to work), and i also use baby shampoo for his head as it doesn't sting his eyes.
Wow!!I just learned how to properly wash my dogs!lol
People have told me that Dawn dishliquid helps rid dogs of fleas. Is this harmful to the dogs?I was told the same about "Dawn" for cats-it did NOT help whatsoever...good dog article.
